“I found out that medical school lacked the business focus I desired.”

My name is Armen Henderson and I am a current 2nd year MD/MBA candidate at Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management in Nashville, TN. I grew up in Philadelphia and did my undergrad at Mansfield University in upstate Pennsylvania, where I studied Biology. Upon graduation from college, I was accepted into medical school. After my third year of medical school at Meharry Medical College, I was accepted into the Owen School of Management to focus on healthcare.

My trek to business school was a little different than the traditional MBA student, but my unique background has made me an asset to the program. I am very active at Owen and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time thus far. Work-life balance and time management have been my keys to success and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you!
