This was the first annual fundraiser planned and carried out by MBA students who had just incorporated their own social enterprises. The four social enterprises featured in this event were: Last Call Cab Corp., which focuses on reducing drunk driving in St. Petersburg, FL.; SolART, which is developing a portable, solar sterilizer for medical equipment; Harvest 361, which helps reduce health and dietary problems caused by a lack of healthy, fresh food alternatives in Pinellas County, FL; and Para Adelante, Inc., which aims to empower underprivileged and impoverished women in Latin America through the attainment of higher education.
