Registration and Taking the Assessment

To take the Soft Skills assessment, create an account and then purchase the assessment. After purchasing, you can start immediately. With 80 questions, Soft Skills takes less than 45 minutes to take and there is no need to prep. You have 90 days to complete the assessment after purchase.

The assessment is on-demand and there is no need to schedule an appointment. You may take as little or as much time as you would like and can take the assessment in multiple sittings, giving you flexibility. Since Soft Skills is measuring key skills like working with others, it’s important to answer the questions truthfully, based on what you say and do in typical situations. Some questions may look similar but are not – that is how the assessment pinpoints your specific strengths.

What do schools receive?

If a school you are applying to accepts the GMAC Soft Skills Assessment, and you select them during registration or after the assessment, they will receive a report that highlighting how you compare against a normative group for several traits – including how you work with others, how you approach your work, and how you work to meet your goals.

How long does it take to get results?

You will receive a report within 24 hours of completing the assessment.

Does the assessment expire?
