GMATPrep® test-preparation software
GMATPrep® test-preparation software is available to help you prepare for the Computer-Adaptive GMAT® exam. This tool is free to registered users of mba.com!
The GMATPrep® software uses the same technology used by the official GMAT® exam. With this software, you can simulate the actual test experience.
GMATPrep® software features:
- A 15-question practice section for each type of GMAT® question, with answers and explanations for each question
- 2 full-length computer adaptive practice tests with answers (detailed explanations of answers are not included)
- Accurate computing of Verbal and Quantitative scores, which you can use to judge how prepared you are for the actual GMAT® exam
- A comprehensive math review
- Real-time scoring
When you register for the GMAT® test, you may also choose to have a free CD-ROM version of the GMATPrep® software mailed to you. It takes two weeks for delivery within the United States and four weeks for delivery to other locations.
GMAT® Tutorials
Before you arrive at the test center to take the Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®), it is very important that you familiarize yourself with the mechanics of taking a Computer-Adaptive GMAT® exam. Test tutorials included in the free GMATPrep® software have been developed for this purpose. They help you review the testing tools you will use to respond to the GMAT® questions (both multiple-choice and writing) and gain experience using a mouse and scrolling. The tutorials are divided into four specific areas:

GMATPrep® software can be run on any PC meeting the following minimal system requirements:
- Pentium III PC or compatible, 1 GHz (Pentium 4, 2 GHz recommended). Macintosh computers are not currently supported.
- 512 MB of RAM
- 60 MB of empty hard disk space
- CD-ROM drive (required for installation)
- Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, or Vista (home or professional version) in English. The GMATPrep® content displays in English only.
- Microsoft compatible mouse or pointing device
- Internet access is not required.
- Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution monitor (1024 x 768 recommended), with high color (16 bit)
