Purpose of this Privacy Policy
Thank you for visiting mba.com, a Web site developed and maintained by the Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®). This privacy policy, as part of our overall Terms and Conditions, covers personally identifiable information (“PII”) collected directly from you by GMAC® or our service providers through the Web site mba.com (the “Web site” and the “site”), as well as data collected offline at GMAT® Customer Service or test centers. For processing of this PII, GMAC® is the "data controller" as that term is used in certain laws in the European Union.
Users of mba.com generally include—
- mba.com registrants, including those who opt in to our services, and those who purchase products or services from the mba.com store;
- registrants for the GMAT® test, whom we refer to as “test takers”; and
- individuals who elect to participate in survey research.
Registrants on mba.com, GMAT® test takers, survey research participants, and other users of GMAC® products and services consent to the processing of their data in accordance with the privacy policy in effect at the point in time the data is collected. Parts of this policy applicable to test takers are contained in the GMAT® Information Bulletin, which may be downloaded on mba.com or requested from GMAT® Customer Service, and must be agreed to for an individual to take the GMAT® test.
