Using the Internet to Contact a School That Interests You
If, when conducting school research on the Internet, you come across a school with an interesting program, you can initiate contact with the school by following the instructions on its Web site for obtaining information. Your request will turn you into an "inquiry" or "registrant" in the school’s database.
Generally, a school will request your name and contact information, planned month/year of enrollment (matriculation), and the type of program you are interested in (part time versus full time, area of concentration) so that you will receive the most relevant materials.
