The Dashboard also includes a link to your onboarding assessment and gives you an overview of your preferences, matches, and applications.

Explore 

Explore allows you to search for programs, refine your requirements, and discover programs that best match your needs. It also highlights programs that align with the results of your onboarding assessment, helping you identify options that are most relevant to your goals and priorities.

Compare 

Compare lets you evaluate your shortlisted programs side by side, making it easier to weigh pros and cons across key factors such as curriculum, format, cost, career outcomes, and student experiences.

Application 

Application is where you can plan and track all your application tasks, manage deadlines, and access guidance and resources from GMAC.

We bring together two distinct types of data to give candidates both program facts and community insights. 

• Program Details (School Data): 
  Core program information such as tuition, curriculum, and time commitment (full-time, part-time, online) comes directly from each school’s official website. This ensures accuracy and alignment with what institutions publish about their programs. 
• Program Outcomes & Differentiators (Reddit Data): 
  To complement the school data, we analyze millions of Reddit-based discussions from applicants, students, and alumni. These conversations provide community-sourced insights into ROI, workload, student experience, career outcomes, networking opportunities, and other factors that help candidates understand what life in a program is really like. 

Advancery pulls data directly from business school websites. This data is also human-verified to ensure you’re seeing updated, relevant, and accurate program details. Program websites are monitored so Advancery can make regular updates and keep the information current.

Unlike tools that focus only on test prep or applications, GMAC Advancery offers a holistic approach. It combines planning resources, school exploration tools, and expert insights to help candidates make confident, well-informed decisions about business school. GMAC Advancery has links to other GMAC products and resources, including discounts on GMAC test prep.

Yes! You can research programs on Advancery. The Explore section is designed specifically for this purpose. You can search and filter programs based on your preferences, see which ones align based on your onboarding assessment, and discover options that best match your goals. You can also refine your results by criteria such as location, format, and focus area to further focus your search results.

Yes! You can filter and compare programs side by side and prioritize what matters most to you in that comparison, whether that’s cost, modality, location, scholarships, or time commitment. You can also add your own categories and include notes based on additional criteria that are important to you.

You can keep track of your applications  in the Application section of Advancery. This section lets you plan and monitor all your application tasks, establish and manage deadlines, and stay organized across multiple applications throughout the process. You can check off completed tasks, edit existing ones, add new tasks, or remove items that may not apply to you, allowing you to personalize your application workflow based on your individual needs. You can also access guidance and resources from GMAC, including tips for essays, recommendations, interviews, and other important components of your applications.
