The questions a candidate receives are targeted at his or her ability level; therefore, a high-scoring candidate generally receives a more difficult sample of questions than a low-scoring candidate. The NMAT exam is scored by obtaining the candidate’s final ability estimate based on the probabilistic model approach of modern test theory, and transformed to a scaled score ranging from 12 to 360.
How will a test taker receive the results?
Test taker can see their unofficial score card at the test center once they submit the test. The official NMAT by GMAC™ exam official score card will be available within 48 hours after the test. Test taker will be notified via email once the official score card is ready for download.
