Learn more about financing your degree
When applying to graduate school, financial considerations are very important. However, they definitely should not be the determining factor. Focus first on applying to the graduate school and what you need to do to get in to that grad school. Once you get in, you can start focusing on different sources of financial aid. From my experience, once you’re admitted to a school, schools will help you put together a package, which may include some loans, but the package will allow you to go to the school of your choice.
Learn more about women and the MBA
I think I appreciate the MBA the most for the fact that it really does not limit you in any way. If you choose to give back through making a non-profit more efficient, or if you want to start a social venture that adds value in developing nations, or if you choose to be the best CFO in the world but donate your time afterwards, it gives those options and everything, every door is open at the end of the MBA program.
Learn more about the benefits of graduate business education
We need to be able to pick up the pace at which we can change and adapt to our environment. That’s one of the skills that I would tell you that anyone coming out of an MBA program should have. Being able to understand how to look at a business, how to look at processes critically, how to look at them analytically, how to analyze how all the parts of a business are working together, and how to come up with a particular output to decide what to invest in and make improvements. Any MBA can do that.
