Hike4Kids is an ambitious initiative that brings the Olin MBA community together to raise awareness and money for two very worthy charities: a school for neglected blind children in Cameroon, Africa and the Family Resource Center, a St. Louis organization that helps abused children. With the support of the Olin community, along with Hike4Kids founding partner and fellow MBA student Brooke James, Olin MBA student Michael McLaughlin became the first person to hike the Appalachian and Ozark trails back-to-back (over 2,500 miles.) So far the effort has raised a substantial amount of both money and awareness.
