We supported the North Carolina Special Olympics via Duke MBA Games. We held a Charity Auction for our entire MBA class where we auctioned off dinners with professors, photography/yoga/sailing lessons, and more!

University of Maryland—Hunger Seder 

To kick off MBA Month JMBAA will he hosting Hunger Seder.  Come join us to celebrate the Jewish Tradition of Passover, a ceremony in which we celebrate our freedom from slavery and our journey to the holy land of Israel.  We will also be exploring a broader theme.  We will be talking about hunger and how poor nutrition and lack of food affect people all over the world, not just in developing countries but in developed countries too.  We will be joined by one of the co-founders of The Food Recovery Network and he will talk to us about what his organization does and negative effects of hunger.

Members of the Smith Graduate Marketing Association partnered with DC Cares during the annual Servathon in Washington, DC.  Smith students joined 80 other volunteers from the DC area to paint and restore a fence surrounding the Frederick Douglas Historic Site.  Read More

The Jewish MBA Association and Team MBA began a new tradition at Smith this year: the JMBAA Passover Hunger Seder. It gave students an opportunity to learn more about the heritage of their Jewish classmates and to join with the MBA community in learning what steps one can take to end hunger in America.
