During orientation week, 91 students plus staff from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business spent over 1,000 volunteer hours in the New Orleans community just before Hurricane Katrina hit. The objectives of the activity were to provide insight to the students by utilizing their MBA skills with community service organizations, provide future opportunities for community involvement, and to do something as a group.
