Alessandro Giuliani, managing director at MISB Bocconi - Bocconi India, was born in Milano, Italy. After graduating from Bocconi University in Italy, he started a quick career in luxury marketing in a few MNCs in France, Spain, and Italy, moving from research studies on strategy in the luxury market (L’Oréal Paris) to senior marketing roles in Luxury MNC (Ermenegildo Zegna). He founded the first promotional company in Italy, then the first financial marketing company in Italy. A serial entrepreneur, he built companies in Italy, Spain, China, and India.

Giuliani sits on the board of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy, and his consulting firm advises Italian companies wanting to establish themselves in India, and Indian companies wanting to invest in Europe. He recently promoted and launched the Indian campus of Bocconi University, the first foreign business school to establish in India. He acts as managing director of MISB Bocconi. He sits on the Board of the IBM Luxury & Retail Academy, the business school center of excellence promoting researches in the luxury and Retail sector.

Fees & Other Expenses

  • What is the estimated cost for the entire program for a foreign student? The fees for the foreign students are the same as those of Indian nationals.
    Tuition fees are as follows: INR 18.25L plus GST
  • What is the cost of living for the duration of the programme? Residential facilities are available for students in Mumbai in 2 or 3 BHK fully furnished flats. Each bedroom accomodates two students. Common living room, kitchen facilities, air conditioning and wi-fi.
  • Are there other costs to be taken into consideration? If yes what? EXCHANGE SEMESTER IN BOCCONI: No additional tuition fees are requested. The average living costs in Milano, Italy are:
    • Housing: from 600 onwards per month
    • Food: a meal at the university canteen is approx 10 Euro.
    • Public transportation: a monthly pass is approx 22 Euro for students under 26 years of age or approx 35 Euro for students over 26 years of age.
  • Are there any job opportunities on campus that can be pursued while the programme is on, to lower the overall cost impact? No, the course is very intensive and therefore has no provision for taking up any kind of employment.

  • What are the scholarship options available for the students? Full and Partial tuition waivers are available on merit basis.
  • What are the criteria for determining scholarship applications? These are based on individual cases and aspects like merit, academic consistency and over all candidate profile.
