Grants and Scholarships
Grants and scholarships are awarded by your school and are based on merit or need.
Check with the Admissions Office at each school to see what kind of grants and scholarships may be available, and verify all application deadlines.
Grants and scholarships (including Teaching Assistance Grants) tend to be limited for graduate students and often very limited for graduate business students. Eligibility criteria may be somewhat restrictive. In general, your school is best source for scholarship information—the earlier you engage your school, the better. Using a service such as a Web-based scholarship search may be helpful, but they may assess a fee for their services.
There may be tax implications for the receipt of financial aid, including grants and scholarships, so check with your financial advisor and/or consult IRS Publication 970 (PDF download), which is available on the IRS website.
