GMAT Registrations in China

Sending Your GMAT® Scores to Schools from China

On the day you take the Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®), you may select up to five (5) GMAT® Programs to receive your scores before you begin the exam. This service is included in your registration fee. Once you have made your selections, you will not be able to change or delete them. For information on how to select programs to receive your scores, read below.

Ordering Additional Score Reports

If you do not select any GMAT® Programs to receive your scores on the day of your exam, or if you would like to send your scores to more than the five (5) programs you selected on your test day, you may order Additional Score Reports (ASR) online or by fax for a fee. Please see Pay for the Test for the cost of sending Additional Score Reports.

Ordering Additional Score Reports Online

You may order Additional Score Reports online by clicking the Request Score Reports button below. If you have not already done so, you will be required to login to—or create a profile on—this Web site. If you wish to see where you have already sent your scores, click the Score Report History button.

Official Score Reports will be available online in January 2006.

If you wish to see where you have already sent your scores, click the Score Report History button.

When you create a profile on this Web site, you must use the same name you used when registering for the GMAT® test. If you did not register for the GMAT® test online, you should also have your 16-digit appointment number. Your appointment number can be found on your confirmation letter or on the Unofficial Score Report you receive as you leave the testing center.

Ordering Additional Score Reports by Fax

To order Additional Score Reports by fax, you must first complete an Additional Score Report Request Form. To complete the form, you will need the GMAT® Program Code List and the Country Code List, both of which are available on this Web site or in the GMAT® Information Bulletin.

Once you have completed the form, please fax it to +86-10-82520243.

For your request to be processed, you must include proper payment with the form, as described in Pay for the Test.

Selecting Score Recipients on Test Day

Before test day, decide which programs you want to receive your GMAT® scores. (See the GMAT® Program Code List for a complete list of authorized GMAT® score-report recipients.) You will have the opportunity to select up to five (5) programs before you take the test.

Accessing Your Official Score Report

If you opted to receive your Official Score Report by mail, it will be sent to you approximately 20 days after your test appointment. Please note that it may take longer than 20 days for the Official Score Report to reach you due to variances in mailing time.

If you chose to receive your Official Score Report online, you will generally receive an e-mail containing a link to access your Official Score Report online within 20 days after your test appointment. You will be prompted to enter the authorization number from your Unofficial Score Report. You may then view, download, or print your Official Score Report, which includes the AWA score.

Releasing Your Scores and Other Information

GMAC® recognizes a responsibility to safeguard the information in its files against unauthorized or inappropriate disclosure. GMAT® scores and other personally identifiable examinee information will be released only at your specific request unless required by law, as provided in the privacy policy in the GMAT® Information Bulletin and on mba.com, as necessary to detect or prevent unlawful activity, or to cooperate in a judicial or governmental proceeding. Note: Your GMAT® scores and other information in the files of GMAC® or its service providers may be released to third parties (such as government agencies or parties to a lawsuit) if requested pursuant to a subpoena or otherwise in a legal proceeding, or as necessary to detect or prevent unlawful activity and to protect the security and integrity of the GMAT® exam. Please review the privacy policy carefully because you will be required to agree to it in order to take the GMAT® exam, as part of the terms and conditions stated in the GMAT® Information Bulletin.

You may request additional score reports for tests taken up to ten (10) years prior to the day you are making the request. (Please note that scores more than five (5) years old are archived and requests for these scores may require additional processing time and a fee that is in addition to the standard ASR fee.) However, if you have tested within the past five (5) years and have a valid score, we will not report scores more than five (5) years old. Because scores that are more than five (5) years old are outdated and can present interpretation problems, when a score report containing such scores is sent to a GMAT® Program, the score report will include a statement indicating the special nature of these scores. If an applicant’s only scores are more than five (5) years old, an institution may require the applicant to take the GMAT® exam again to supply more current scores.
