“Good enough” is a relative term and will vary among schools. The easiest thing to do is check with the schools you’re interested in and see what the average GMAT® score is for students in the programs you want to attend. You should also find out what the range of accepted scores was for the last entering class and whether the programs have a minimum score requirement. Remember, your GMAT score is but one component of your application, but it is important. Let your score guide your choice of where to apply, and be sure to highlight your strengths and address issues raised by your score in other parts of your application package. Learn how to maximize your application by reading the mba.com section “Apply Effectively.” |
