Hi,

Yesterday i took GMAT and scored 570. I understand this is not at all a good score. unfortunately i did not do well in verbal section,but my Quantitative score were very good. I just want to know do i still have chances in getting into a decent B-school anywhere across the globe.I know i am being very optimistic.

I have a query regarding marking the last question of the section. If the answer has been marked, but not confirmed by clicking the "Next" button, is that question considered as answered? And the marked answer taken?

From the little I've learned navigating the site:

On the Home page, click on THE GMAT link.

On the left side, click on SCHEDULE A GMAT APPOINTMENT.

On the left side, click on FIND A TEST CENTER

Fill in the required information in the form that pops up and you can get between five and twenty test centers close to you.

Click on as many as you require and hit NEXT.

On the next paage, each center will provide a pop up calender that lets you know the dates available for testing.

This is invaluable when you have an idea of the time you will be ready for testing. I'm new to GMAT and I'm told to allow myself three - six months to prepare. So I put in my zip code and chose June 2010 as my test month. Available test dates in each center were then displayed.

I will recommend that you check your firstnames order when you subscribe to this site www.mba.com. I WAS SENT HOME on the day of my test because the ORDER of my two firstnames were not in the correct order. I had TO REPAY 250 dollars to take the exam again. The call centre did change the name order when i called...

I am worried of my competency in Maths, would that suggests that I will not be admitted to MBA programme. Is Maths one of the entrance requirements for MBA programme?

I think the real problem with the GMAT is finishing the questions in the given time and this of cours requires practicing, 2 tests to prepare and get familier with the exam time frame are too little , plz consider making at least 5 tests available even with extra fees.
